    To ensure success with this half-baked chocolate cake, follow the instructions carefully. Please note that not all ovens are the same and/or do not all maintain the correct temperature; our instructions are based on standard home ovens.

    1) Bring the ramekins to room temperature for 20 to 25 minutes before baking.

    2) Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), preferably without convection.

    3) Position one of the oven racks in the center of the oven.

    4) Once the oven has reached temperature, place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake.

    5) Bake for 11 minutes. Longer cooking will affect the baking and results.

    6) If you think your oven is usually too hot, bake for 10 minutes. If you think your oven isn't hot enough, bake for 12 minutes. You can also try increasing or decreasing the temperature while still maintaining the recommended 11-minute baking time.

    7) Remove from the oven and let rest for 1 to 2 minutes.

    8) You should have a cake that is cooked around the edges (about 1 to 2 cm) and semi-gooey in the center.

    9) Enjoy the mi-cuit chocolate cake directly from the ramekin; it might be difficult to remove it without breaking it.
